Gears of War 4
Technically, Sony's where Resident Evil got its start, so I wouldn't be that surprised if it happened, based on that.
It's worth having both consoles. They have different games entirely and even if you're getting one just for Uncharted that alone is worth it. Especially since they're only $250 now. If you're a true "gamer" then you should have both consoles and not just be an xbox fanboy.Technically, Sony's where Resident Evil got its start, so I wouldn't be that surprised if it happened, based on that.
That makes an unfortunate amount of sense. Gosh darnit. I kind of wanted a PS3 for a while, I started out on Playstation 1, then 2, but then swapped to Xbox 360. Only really "missed" Hellzone but other than that, not really anything on offer that makes me regret it. And I met Halo. Yum yum.
I'm going to marry this game.

If you like it so much why don't you......oh, wait. :P
I haven't been this excited for a PS3 game since Heavy Rain. Let's hope it doesn't leave me disappointed like Heavy Rain.

There have been some concerns over box-art recently – including Ken Levine’s admission that the BioShock Infinite cover has been engineered to target ‘frat boys’ – so I asked the group if they had any suggestions as to why we see so few females on game covers – aside from stereotypical imagery, of course.
“I feel like they don’t put women on the covers because they’re afraid that it won’t sell. It’s all gamers really know – and I don’t want to be sexist by any means – but I get the feeling, generally, that they think games won’t sell as well with a woman on the cover, compared to some badass dude on the front.”
“I agree with what Ashley said,” Druckmann added. “I believe there’s a misconception that if you put a girl or a woman on the cover, the game will sell less. I know I’ve been in discussions where we’ve been asked to push Ellie to the back and everyone at Naughty Dog just flat-out refused.”
Following the critical disappointment of Aliens: Colonial Marines, I've decided I officially support game delays. The more time they spend on the game, the less likely it will flop.

Except for the case of the game you just mentioned! :)

I was just going to say the same thing, that games been in development hell forever!

Yeah, but according to the "leak" all of that time was wasted in the hands of the wrong development team. If Gearbox's in-house team had another year to fix it without fear of being sued by Sega, I'm sure the game would have been better received.
I'll rephrase: The more time a good development team spend on the game, the less likely it will flop. ;D
The Last of Us has a Save Glitch, Here’s What You Can DoHopefully none of this leads to corrupted file saves...that'd be a bummer.

The Last of Us comes out today worldwide and gamers seem to be enjoying one of the best games ever made. However, some of them are reporting a glitch where the autosave simply stops working and this means your progress won’t be saved.
You will have to quit the game and it will start at the last section where the autosave successfully worked. The only thing you can do here is to constantly monitor your progress by pressing start and seeing the text “less than X minutes” on your screen. If you can see that then the autosave is working correctly, but if you see “autosaving, please wait“, then it’s time to quit the game.
Naughty Dog has not announced any patch for this and this doesn’t seem like a major issue if you pay attention to the autosave text in the pause menu.
You'd think the resemblance would be cause for flattery, but weirdly, during an "Ask Me Anything" on Reddit, [Ellen]Page seems the opposite of flattered when the likeness is pointed out by a user.Source: [Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/famous-actor-sounds-upset-about-the-last-of-us-ellie-551365129)]
"I guess I should be flattered that they ripped off my likeness", she says, "but I am actually acting in a video game called "Beyond Two Souls", so it was not appreciated."
