If you like DC as well as Marvel you really need to read the Blackest Night Story which is currently going on, very good indeed!

I'm waiting for the trade paperback for Blackest Night.  Crossover events are too difficult for me to keep track of, because I don't subscribe to all of the various affected series.

I did the same for the Sinestro Corps story, which is actually a sort of precursor to Blackest Night.  I just waited until the comics ran their course, ignored spoilers on the internet, and bought the trade paperback a few months later.

For big, longrunning stories like these, it's much easier for me to just wait and buy the story in its entirety than to run around trying to piece it together.  Very frustrating if you end up missing 1 or 2 issues in the middle of the story, then have to wait for reprints before you can read the following issues.

If you're doing that then you need to check out Rage of the Red Lanterns as well then. Another precursor to Blackest Night. That is in graphic novel form already. They're unlikely to do the Blue or Orange Lanterns as they were more one shots than anything else.

Thanks for reminding me.  I completely for about the Red Lanterns.  I'll be sure to read that before Blackest Night.   :)

They've released the Sinestro Corps war in graphic novel form now (it's on my shelf) so anyone like Forbidden Planet or Amazon will have it. Biff Bang Pow will as well and would be the better option if you wanted to get the back issues instead.

Neato....Green Lantern Corps just got even better!!!

I need a little help. I have looked everywhere on the interweb for a particular issue of batman detective comics or "TEC as it's otherwise know but i can't bloody find it anywhere. I am pretty desperate. The issue i am after is from September '96 - "TEC 701. It continues the story from "TEC 700 - Progeny and the Demon, of which i have part one. It's frickin' frustratin' because "TEC 700 is widely available. If any one knows of any good comic shops or websites that stock DC back issues please let me know. Thanks guys  :)

I have a few places for hard-to-finds, but they're all in the US.

Worst case scenario, if you can't find it in the UK, I'll try to find it here and just ship it to you.  As long as you don't mind a US publication (are comics published separately in the UK, or just imported?)
