Forza Motorsport 3
« on: July 10, 2009, 12:46:29 PM »
Forget what you may have heard. There will be no weather, no night racing and no rallying in Forza Motorsport 3.
Those were the rumours cleared up in one swoop by Turn 10's community manager Che Chou on the game's official forums.

"No weather, night racing, or rally in the game," he said straight up. "That said, any car is up for grabs. Just because we haven't announced/shown it doesn't mean it won't make it into the game. We're just trickling out info," he went on to say.

"Painter, tuner, drag, drift scoreboards. Yes, it's all in the details. Which we haven't revealed yet," said Chou.

If you like your supercars, check out the dev diary above in which the Turn 10 team visit the 24 Hour Le Mans in France to get the track into the game. And they drive some pretty fricking sweet cars.

Game's out in October on 360.

Hopefully they can make it more exciting than 2. Although it was a comprehensive racer with lots to do, the races were a little boring and i got too dependant on the brake line.

True very true. Althought the option to turn it of is there it does make the game too easy
Can't wait for Shenmue 3

I hate jokes that rely on visual imagery.

I've had it right up to here with them.

Great game but Career Mode is too long on Forza 2, theres something like 317 races to win which for me is a bit too much, 315 would be perfectly fine  ;D
You're right about the braking line too, way too easy with it on, though races can be won quite easily without it too.

THey'll be available in the game, but you'll still have to buy them!

Hopefully they'll expand the Arcade mode, which i found better than the long-winded career.

Forza 3 achievements

Few, no 1, 2, 3 or 4 point achievements :)

I was thinking that too, i bet they're still very time consuming again though.

Almost certainly! Have you played NFS: Shift? After the last two disappointing NFS titles I have been pleasantly surprised with this one, it looks a lot nicer and plays a lot more realistically, without being overly "realistic" (if that makes sense!!!)
