Due to a packaging/shipping error, some of the Facehugger figurines included with the 'Hunter Edition' are broken (typically the tail).

Not to worry.  Sega will be providing replacements free-of-charge.  Visit http://www.sega.com/facehugger/ for more info.

Just finished the marine campaign.
I enjoyed it lots, sure there are plenty of FPS games that are way better than this game but if you love alien, aliens or any predator films then you will get plenty of fun out of this games.
If you are not really into any of the films or comic books then you should leave this well alone.
Looking forward to trying survivor game mode later

I'm slowly working through this now and have to agree with JT and Markav. I have also tried the MP as well now and have to say that some of the modes are not bad.
Infestation is a good laugh as it is effectively British Bulldogs for xenos!

I went to pick up my preorder.  The store apparently never received the preorder bonus code/cards.  I passed.  No point in buying it full price if I don't get something more than if I buy it used in 6 months.   :P

Would you believe that this game just passed Bioshock 2 as the fastest selling game in Europe?

I'm still finding the balancing a little off. I know it's meant to be 3 very different "tribes" but there are some big differences at times.

Aliens vs. Predator's first DLC revealed as 4-map pack

This morning, Sega announced that the first DLC add-on for Aliens vs. Predator will be a four-pack of multiplayer maps -- the same four maps that came included in the European Collector's Edition of the game. Specifically, Europeans will be able to pick up "Docks" and "Machine" (the regular multiplayer maps) and "Outpost" and "Hive" (the Survival Mode maps) as a set for 560MSP ($7), according to the Sega of Europe website. (Sega of America told us that there will be more info on the North American release this week.)

Unfortunately, no firm release date has been given, though the map pack is said to arrive "shortly" for all three platforms. And yeah, we're also hoping this isn't the only AvP DLC that Sega's putting out "soon after release."
