Can I ask, probably a dumb question. If you connect a wireless controller to the PC with the rechargable battery cable, will that work? Or is that cable purely for recharging?

Purely for recharging.

Not a dumb question at all.  A LOT of people ask that.

You have 2 options to use a 360 controller on your PC.

Command And Conquer 4 has retained its position as the PC number one game for a second week.

Sega's Football Manager 2010 moves up two places to second, above Battlefield: Bad Company 2 which remains third.

This week sees two games make their debut in the top ten, with The Settlers 7: Paths To A Kingdom and Just Cause 2 entering back to back at six and seven respectively.

The top ten in full:

1. (1) Command And Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight (Electronic Arts)
2. (4) Football Manager 2010 (Sega)
3. (3) Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Electronic Arts)
4. (8) The Sims 3 (Electronic Arts)
5. (6) Napoleon: Total War (Sega)

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction has made its debut at the top of the PC weekly chart.

Last week's top three games all shift down one place, which sees Football Manager 2010 in second, The Sims 3 in third and Napoleon: Total War in fourth.

GTA Episodes - Tales From Liberty City suffers this week's biggest drop, after falling four places from fourth to eighth, below The Sims 3: World Adventures, which drops to seventh.
