I hate jokes that rely on visual imagery.

I've had it right up to here with them.

John's got the E74 error a couple of weeks ago, while I was setting up the new wireless adapter on it.  He should have it back this weekend, just in time for Kyle's birthday, so he'll be happy.

I saved this video of my 360 when it broke after only 5 months back in 2007...
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7byXnFMwTyM" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7byXnFMwTyM</a>
I took it back to the shop for replacement. 16 months later, the motherboard and drive needed replacing so I had to send that off to MSoft.
Great software, lame hardware.

My new Elite has just arrived which is cool, just need the transfer kit now so I can move everything from my crappy 20GB HDD to the new 250GB one.

I ain't paying for one thats for sure, apparantly Microshaft don't give them away anymore, tbh though theres not a massive amount of saves that i need, i might just borrow my mates memory unit & transfer them that way, i can use the License Transfer Tool to get all my dlc stuff back, thats the main thing.

If I can find mine, do you want to borrow it?

Gladly, cheers mate  :)

I know Tara has one, the only thing i'm unsure about is the disc that comes with it, i've seen loads of threads online about older discs not working with newer consoles, still worth a try though  :)

Mine's a little under a year old, I think it's in the loft with a load of other leads, I'll see if I can find it, hopefully the disc is with it! I'll PM you if I find it, may not be until the weekend though.

I know whereabouts in the loft I think it is, it's just whether it's actually there and whether the disc is with it!!!  :-\ Last time I went hunting for something in the loft I fell through the only bit of it that wasn't boarded up and ended up hanging through the ceiling like Tom Hanks in The Money Pit!!!  :o

I actually prefer the tedious task of transferring via Memory Unit than transferring with the Kit.

The Kit actually cannot transfer some items.  In which case, it simply deletes the items from the original HDD, and you may never even know what items you're missing until it's too late.

By using the Memory Unit, I'm in control of each item's transfer.  And I know if something does or does not survive the move.  For the stubborn items that don't want to transfer, I use my illegal Datel Xport to force to the transfer.   ;)
