Spielberg too

No joke ... I had this really strange dream about Spielberg last night.  Nothing kinky.

I was sort of dreaming about Oblivion, because I've been playing it waaaaay too much.  I was exploring a dungeon/cave thing and found a secret room.

The room was completely empty, except for Spielberg sitting in a chair in the middle of the room.  Kind of like that Matrix / Wizard-of-Oz scene but without all of the TV screens.  I was like, "Hey Steven!  What are you doing here?"  And he was like, "Hey Steve!  Let me talk to you about Jesus Christ."

It was really awkward.  The weirdest thing ... Spielberg is Jewish.   :-\

Report: 3DS to allow full game installs

The Nintendo 3DS will allow users to copy games to internal memory according to a report in Japanese newspaper Nikkei, translated by Andriasang.

The software install feature will allow 3DS owners to store multiple games on memory rather than having to carry around a lot of cartridges.

Nintendo has come under pressure from third parties to do something about rampant DS piracy.

Yesterday Activision COO Thomas Tippl told GameSpot: "if they also address the piracy issues they have and upgrade the copyright protection system, I think [3DS is] going to be a big success"

Given that a lot of the piracy devices are cartridges that store multiple ROMs on micro-SD cards, perhaps Nintendo has decided that if you can't beat them...

Ocarina of Time in 3D. That's basically gonna be my only justification for buying a 3DS on release day. Unless Final Fantasy V&VI are released then or soon after aswell.

Report: Nintendo 3DS Hardware Specs Revealed

Nintendo's next handheld game machine, the Nintendo 3DS, will be significantly more powerful, thanks to hardware specs that represent a vast improvement over the Nintendo DS and its more powerful successor, the Nintendo DSi.

IGN, citing "persons familiar with the hardware who spoke to us under the condition of anonymity," report that the 3DS will come stuffed with the following electronic guts.

CPU: 2 x 266MHz ARM11
GPU: PICA200 133MHz GPU by DMP
RAM: 64MB
Video RAM: 4MB
Storage: 1.5GB Flash-based

The original Nintendo DS featured a pair of ARM processors running at 67 MHz and 33 MHz and a comparatively paltry 4 MB RAM. The Nintendo DSi had double the CPU clock speed and quadrupled the system's RAM, plus added 256 MB of flash-based storage.

We've reached out to Nintendo seeking comment on the matter. The company is not typically open about the nitty gritty hardware aspects of its video game hardware and has not yet responded to requests for comment.

Rumour: Ocarina of Time Bundled with the Nintendo 3DS

While rumors are always swirling around, it's been awhile since we heard any involving Zelda. According to a Gamestop employee, there will be a version of the 3DS that is bundled with "some sort of Zelda title". Being that Ocarina of Time is the only Zelda title announced for the 3DS, it is safe to say that Ocarina of Time is the "zelda" game he is referencing.

Where did the employee get this information? At this point no one knows, but it's safe to say the information most likely came from their computer system, where it is starting to list all the bundles and such for preorder (yes, you can preorder the 3DS right now folks). While anything heard from Gamestop is always to be taken with a heavy dose of salt, wouldn't it be grand if you could get Ocarina of Time WITH the 3DS? Talk about a launch title!
