There wouldn't be much difference I don't think, MS had the option to go with blu-ray and went with HD-DVD instead which failed quicker than the Lakers in the play-offs!!!   :)

Although the HD-DVD drive was an optional, external add-on.
I like my women how I like my coffee: ground up and in the freezer.

The doctors say his chances are 50/50... but there's only a 10% chance of that.

I turned my PS3 on last night and was prompted to update.  Unfortunately, PS3 updates always take way too long, so I just set it to turn off when it was done and I went to bed.

I haven't played any of those actually, shows how little I use the PS3 for games. But have always been interested in Little Big Planet, just never got around to it and I liked the Infamous demo, but same story.

In more troubling information for and from Japan:
Sony is being blocked from Restarting PSN in Japan "until the company can demonstrate that certain new security measures have been met" -The specific measures weren't detailed, due to, well, security.

Kazushige Nobutani, the director of the Media and Content Industry department:

Quote
As of May 13, Sony was incomplete in exercising measures that they said they will do on the May 1 press conference....There were similar cases in the past that were caused by other firms, and we are asking Sony whether their measures are good enough when compared to countermeasures taken in the past.

In related news, I'm having an impossible time trying to reset my password for PSN / Qriocity.  I requested a password reset and was told they would email me the info within 24 hours.  I'm pretty sure it's been longer than 24 hours.  Maybe I'll have better luck trying to change it via my PS3?  I'll try when I get home tonight.
