I'm the opposite. I was completely obsessed with Oblivion (100% cheevos), but never really got into Fallout 3. One of these days I'm going to have to buckle down and actually play it.

I didn't get very far the first time I tried it.

Somehow I got lost in the castle during the escape sequence ... which I'm not even sure is possible. I died constantly because I couldn't figure out how to change/assign weapons (among other seemingly obvious actions). It probably took me about 3+ hours to fully comprehend exactly how to play the game. Once I figured it out, I couldn't stop playing.

When you grow up being wow'd by games that look like ...The graphical shortcomings of modern games is more easily overlooked.

Personally I will be aiming to play skyrim for at least 400 hours, i played morrowind for 100+ hours, oblivion will end up nearly 300 so i might as well push for 400 next time. I am so excited about skyrim i think my arm might burst, i could easily sell all my other games in november and just play skyrim and gears 3 forever!
