Next Assassin's Creed confirmed for late 2011Brotherhood sells like hot cakes in EuropeAssassin's Creed: Brotherhood is Ubisoft's fastest selling game ever in Europe. Over a million copies were bought in the first week of availability in the region.
This is a "big jump" from last year's sales of Assassin's Creed 2, according to Geoffroy Sardin, EMEA chief of marketing and sales at Ubisoft,
talking to MCV.
The news of Brotherhood's success comes alongside the really-not-that-surprising confirmation that there will be "another big Assassin's Creed game" next year.
An impressive 60% of Brotherhood players are playing the online multiplayer mode. Considering the game is known for its single player experiences and its multiplayer is so unique and experimental, this is a surprising and significant number.
We look forward to hearing more about the next game and how they're going to build on the success of Brotherhood's online mode.
