here we go again
« on: August 10, 2010, 01:20:50 PM »
back in 2009 when i fisrt joined 360 df i did not have many xbox games and i posted a similar thread to this. back when it looked like the end of the world as we know it i made a decision to get rid of most of my online games. now that the site is still going strong and im back online for a well as long as i can. i find im back to square one again. i only have a few online games including gow,mw2, halo 3 last time i gamed we voted for one game but ended up playing gow 2 horde lol is that still the same? anyway i need a list of games to buy so i might rejoin the chaos that is friday gaming nights lol

The last few weeks have been Gears 2, Red Dead Redemption, Left 4 Dead 2 and Bad Company 2, COD4 I think too, I only play Gears 2 of course.   :)

Failed is in charge of Game Nights now and whatever wins one week won't be in the running the following week so as to keep things fresh, he's also set up a Wednesday Theme Night so we've got more variation in the games we play together, never a bad thing, though I only play Gears 2.   ;D

Well Reaps, We tend to keep GoW Horde for Sunday night's. For Friday gaming nights we try and keep it different each week by leaving out whatever game we played the previous Friday from the votes as to make sure we do not play the same game 2 weeks in a row.
If you look at the Friday gaming nights thread and poll you can see the most popular games being played at the moment, You can also check here to see what multi-player games everyone has here: http://360fahrenheit.com/fahrenh1_forum1/index.php?topic=1438.0
There is also now a Wednesday game night, You may want to check out what is being played then, These do tend to really be a mixed bag, From Themed nights, Driving, Co-op, Arcade and so on.

As a recomendation I would say Red Dead Redemption (fantastic game) and Bad Company 2 (I own but have yet to play) seem to be the most popular, And I think most members would agree that these two games would be a wise choice.

I've got Bad Company 2 just not played it online yet, be a while before I get RDR, i'll wait until it drops in price first.

Gears 2 is a must, we have so much fun with that. Bad company is fantastic way better than the modern warfare games IMO, but i think it's still expensive as is RDR, which is also bloody awesome and a great laugh when we play together!
