Fallout: New Vegas gets Collector's Edition
Poker chips, playing cards and more

Bethesda has announced that it's releasing a special Collector's Edition alongside regular versions this autumn. In line with the RPG's new setting, there's a distinct gambling theme to the contents.

# Seven "Lucky 7" poker chips, each one representing one of the major casinos along the main strip and around the Mojave dunes.

# A themed deck of playing cards, featuring lots of character art from the game. There's also a rule-set for a game called 'Caravan', one that also features in Fallout New Vegas itself.

# A "Lucky 38" chip, made to look like the platinum coated quest item found in the game.

# The hardback graphic novel "All Roads" which acts as a prequel to the game. It's written by some of the folks at Dark Horse comics.

# A making of DVD with stacks of behind the scenes footage and new interviews from Obsidian and Bethesda.

From this first press shot, the packaging looks a lot bigger than the goodies inside, but it still looks a cut above the usual plastic figurines. We look forward to when the inevitable unboxing videos come out on YouTube.

Matthew Perry in Fallout
Could you BE more excited?

Matthew Perry, who played sarcastic funny man Chandler Bing in sitcom Friends, The Guild actress Felicia Day and Chuck's Zachary Levi have lent their voices to Obsidian's sci-fi RPG Fallout: New Vegas, according to the USA Today.

They join Danny Trejo (From Dusk Till Dawn), Kris Kristofferson (The Blade Trilogy), Rene Auberjonois (Boston Legal, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Michael Dorn (Star Trek: The Next Generation), John Doman (Mystic River, The Wire) and William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption) in an all-star cast.

Zachary Levi plays Arcade (in the gallery below), a member of the Followers of the Apocalypse who hides a mysterious past.

He's described as "quiet, analytical, and cautious. Highly ethical and moral, he understands the post-apocalyptic world is one in which sometimes, people just have to be shot in the head.

"He is more concerned with large-scale issues than the needs of individuals. He may appreciate what individual people go through, but firmly believes that it's more important to affect large-scale societal change than to fix problems little by little."

Perry plays Benny (also in the gallery below), the head of the Geckos family. "A smooth-talking criminal but also a bit of a weasel, Benny may sound dangerous, but isn't that tough. Ultimately he's more of a ruthless pragmatist than a villain."

Felicia Day plays companion character Veronica, a sarcastic Brotherhood of Steel scribe.

Danny Trejo plays playable companion Raul the Ghoul, a mechanic and former gunslinger.

Ron "Hellboy" Perlman reprises his role as the narrator, according to The USA Today.

Wayne "Mr. Las Vegas" Newton is also on the cast, but we've never heard of him, so left him till last. Newton plays Mr. New Vegas, a programmed radio DJ.

Fallout: New Vegas is due out on 22nd October in the UK for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

I don't mind it but take out Doogie Howser and it would be beyond awful.

I love Doogie and the guy from Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

I do enjoy the show, just not as much as I enjoyed Friends.

ODST has teh best voice cast EVER!!!

Three of the cast are from Firefly (Fillion, Baldwin and Tudyk) and one of them voices Drake from the Uncharted games (Nolan North), can't go wrong with that talent.

Brutal Legend is pretty impressive too, Jack Black obviously, Tim Curry, Kyle Gass, Lemmy from Motorhead, Ozzy Osbourne and the woman that does Female Shepherd in the Mass Effect games amongst a massive CV of video game work.  :)

I was mighty impressed with the brutal legend voice work, Especially Ozzy. The game on the whole was great too, just a shame the side missions were so repetitive. Looking forward to new vegas as well, but i won't be getting it until i am finally done with fallout 3, so maybe next year some time.
