Always amazes me how otherwise intelligent people from all walks of life still believe in the fairytales of religion in this day and age.

There's no darker side, only science. Religion and science don't mix.

I'm all for other people having religion, for a lot of people it's all they have. I don't like people who try and force their religious views though, damned zealots!

im not a christian by any means, but the fact that athiests scoff at others for their beliefs shows quite a bit of ignorance. the thought that anyone on this planet knows whether there is a God or not is ridiculous. what i do know is that francis collins does believe in intelligent design. and his intelligence is far superior to anyone on this thread.

But its also the same for other religions as you have just proved yourself. Other religions find it hard to believe that athiests dont believe.
I dont believe in god and never will. And just because someone is far more intelligent doesnt mean they are right :)

Go me, for being an understanding agnostic. There may be an omnipotent deity, but we'll never know and if there is they'll be the most intelligent 'person' on this thread.
