Fallout 4's £100 Pip-Boy Edition includes an actual Pip-Boy
Don't tell the super mutants.

Fallout 4's fancy pants Pip-Boy Edition includes an actual Pip-Boy.

The £100 collection includes a Pip-Boy replica, stand and capsule case.

The wearable Pip-Boy has been designed to replicate the in-game model, and comes with a RobCo Industries stand, custom-printed capsule, adjustable foam cuff, and rotating knobs and lights.

You can slip your smartphone inside the Pip-Boy and, when used in conjunction with the Pip-Boy mobile app, manage your in-game inventory, perks and holotapes as if you're, well, an actual vault dweller.

Meanwhile, the Pip-Boy Edition includes a physical Pip-Boy Pocket Guide, which features illustrations and tips. There's also a Vault-Tec Perk poster. Oh, and you get the game inside Power Armour Collectible metal packaging.

Go nuts.

Not a special edition, but still a bundle...close enough! :D

[Polygon] (http://www.polygon.com/2015/10/15/9539525/fallout-4-live-action-trailer) called this a "goofy" live action trailer, but I"m thinking it's pretty apt for the franchise - and I see Bethesda is calling this a "live-action" trailer, but there's something funky about it that feels less "live" and more CGI...

Developer Bethesda has teamed up with Carlsberg for the promotional beverage, which it says is inspired by Vault-Tec Industries and the rest of the post-apocalyptic game franchise. A 12-pack will set you back £29.99 on [Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B016XZVE96?tag=skim1x149953-21)], with delivery expected around November 5th.

Unfortunately for those of us in the US of A - this isn't being made available...but the UK folks may partake... :)

Yeah, that's about £2.5 a bottle so I'd say it's being treated more like a collector's item than an actual drink. Breaks down to an expensive drink or an ok priced collector's item...depending on your POV.

Something just dawned on me about this whole Pip Boy "gimmick" - I find it odd that although the game is coming out for Xbox One that the app that works this isn't being extended to Windows Phone(s).

I understand that Windows Phone isn't necessarily leading the pack in apps and such, but being that the game this is packaged with will be released for another Microsoft product, you'd think they'd push to have the app that makes this thing work run on Windows Phones...

That's a really good point. I have a windows phone so perhaps it will extend to it?

Request answered: - Apparently it was announced in October - the marketing push apparently hasn't made much steam -

According to an newly updated page on the Bethesda Softworks site for the release of Fallout 4:

"The Fallout 4 Pip-Boy App is usable in tandem with Fallout 4 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The App is supported on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices."
