The update is now live.  I'm at work so I can't try it.  If anyone has access to Xbox Live, let us know what happens.   :)

I see over on xbox live they have a thread with eveyrone posting what drives do and don't work.  It gets a bit wordy.  Perhaps a mod could start one here and then keep the drives that do work in the first post?  I got the update last night but haven't tried any drives yet.

To my understanding, the basic requirements are ...

USB 2.0 compliant
1024MB free space minimum.

I think the problem a lot of people are having is when they they buy cheapy "1GB" USB drives that actually do not have 1024MB storage.  I could be wrong.  I'll take a look at the xbox.com forum later.

I just read through this thread (which I think is what Racer was referring to).  It seems that ALL drives tested so far work.  One poster said his SanDisk 4GB Cruzer didn't work, but another said his did.  Most likely the first poster's drive was simply damaged.
