Oh dear... just watched "Bad Teacher" myself. Although it was mildly amusing in places I never knew it was possible to make a film with not a single likeable character in it, adult or child alike.  Oh well, at least it was only from Love Film!

Thank god for the new Tomb Raider, helped me de-stress after a tough week! More of the same please

Watched Conan and X-Men.... both were OK.

Magneto's Irish accent got pretty strong near the end

What did you think of the cameos in X-Men?

the obvious one was good, i was told Storm was in the Cerebro scene (i didn't spot her though) and Mystique from the X-Men trilogy was clever. I didn't spot the others but all of the main characters were known which was nice, nothing too obscure in there. Nightcrawlers dad was sweet. Nerdgasm but not as fun as X-Men 3 i thought.

They're the ones I spotted, what are the supposed others?

Wolverine was in it for a split second.  Sitting in a bar, he tells xavier and magneto to  F " take a hike " off     ----------  apologies, Wolverine was clearly the obvious one mentioned at the start of the post.    Storm was in the Cerebro scene alright, reading a book. You couldn't miss her white hair.

I noticed that about the accent, kind of amusing. It was good, though I kind of want more - not sure what to expect next though, another "Origins" I guess? It'd be nice to see something brotherhood based, following them instead of the actual Xmen.

suppose they could do Cyclops Origins, that's pretty interesting with his brother.

Just seen the new Underworld film at the cinema, better than I expected, some quality gory action, vamps & lycans actually killing stuff and of course Kate Beckinsale in leather, what's not to love?  :)

3.5/5

 :)

Much better... ;)

But yeah, these Sherlock Holmes films are quickly becoming Robert Downey, Jr.'s version of Johnny Depp's "Pirates of the Caribbean"...if that makes sense.

Watched Fright Night with Colin Farrell last week and also got to see Immortals.  Both were pretty enjoyable.

Really liked Fright Night. It had a good mix of dry humour, sense of foreboding and the vampire scenes were well done, especially the last 20 minutes or so. 4 out of 5

The action and CGI in Immortals was excellent. Dunno about turning the Titans into mindless savage type baddies, that were basically canon fodder for the gods but enjoyable nonetheless. 3 out of 5   Wrath of the Titans needs to be well done to beat Immortals, but looking at the trailers it just might.
