Need to finish, or even actually start, Oblivion before I can show any real interest in this!

Was gonna get Oblivion again and play before BF3 and Sky but too close to GOW3 now,

Feels like Gow3 is gonna be a time-burner before those two come out tbh.

I don't even wanna think about Skyrim anymore cuz its doing my head tbh. The worst thing is its gonna be out when Im away, its gonna sitting in peoples machines and them going '' wooooww', while I know it's sitting on the floor inside my front door!!

I still believe in Santa and he works at Bethesda, or DICE, or maybe both because he's Santa and can do what he damn well likes,,''and that's the bottom line.....cuz the big man with the white beard, red suit and flying pigs eh reindeer,, said so!!''

There are few things I enjoy more than cuddling up in my recliner with a blanket and an RPG while snow is falling outside of my window.

I suspect I'll still be wandering the landscape by the end of January anyway, I tend to put an unhealthy amount of time into rpgs. I could easily spend 4/5/6 hours playing Fallout 3/Vegas and what do I do? Nothing useful, just pure random wandering and rooting around in dark corners!

''look a rock, lets go stand on it. oooh a friendly dog lets follow him and see where he goes!'', I am simple to entertain really! :P

On a serious note though Im stoked that all the footage from Skyrim so far has been from the 360. As for these guys, well holy cakewalk batman!

Skyrim fits on one Xbox 360 disc

Bethesda has managed to squeeze forthcoming action RPG colossus The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim onto a single Xbox 360 disc.

Art director Matt Carofano confirmed the news to RipTen, though didn't offer any further detail on install sizes.

For some context, L.A. Noire spanned three separate Xbox 360 discs when it launched earlier this year.

Yup.

It's no surprise it's only on 1 disc. Although it's a new engine and bigger and badder than Oblivion/F3/and New Vegas, New Vegas only uses something like 4.3 gb. Plus they is clever!

Wasn't there an update as well to the Xbox system to accommodate and extra gig?

I just hope they haven't left obvious holes in the game where it's clear content has been ripped out for dlc!

Yeah and the cut scenes in Skyrim are using the in-game graphics/engine so it saves space.

Think I'd rather have some extra polish and a 2nd disk.

Getting this for PC for the staggering amount of mods that will be available :D
Replay value ho!

I mean, if it looks better, has more replay value and customizing, and is single player, I don't think I'd trade all that just for achievements, lol.

Plus if I get it via steam, I never have to worry about a scratched disc!

They'd still have to put the world on both discs.

I'd get it on the PC too Kade, but mine barely handles Fallout 3.

Well that is one huge advantage of getting it on 360, you know it'll work without needing to upgrade a part or tweak files.
