... not going to happen?
I’m not in this business to make money. I wrote Heavy Rain because I was excited about it, because there was something to say. Yeah I could make Heavy Rain 2, but I’ve said what I’ve had to say about it. That’s the strength of Quantic Dream, to have the capacity to create new ideas, to make something that breaks ground.

It may or may not happen. Really depends on Sony and Quantic Dream making another deal on a sequel. If Quantic doesn't want to do another one then it wont happen. Sony doesn't force studios to do games, they give them pretty much all the creative freedom they want. Either way we'll see another awesome, strange, "groundbreaking" game from them soon hopefully.

I enjoyed Heavy Rain, unlike their previous cult classic (Fahrenheit) it sold pretty well too, over 2 million copies, far more than what David Cage initially expected. As for a potential sequel, i'd like to see one but wouldn't be overly bothered if there wasn't one.

Same here, I liked the concept of what Heavy Rain did, even though I only played through it once (felt like cheating to try to change the outcome). Wouldn't mind having a similar type of experience with different story, more finely tuned gameplay, etc.
