Question time:

BF3 is to have an ''open beta'' across all platforms ,  those that purchased MOH or preordered bf3 through origin get 48 hour early access.

Ok so I have that clear. But does anyone know if  the beta needs keys or how it's going to work?

I think its the open part that's confusing me.

I think if you have MoH, then you'll go onto the game and it'll give you the download from there. THe pre-order should be a code.

It's only 48hours early access, after that it'll have an open beta. maybe.

Yeah thats what has been said by EA they get early access. So I wonder if the download will be on the dashboard. I hope so,some BF3 in september would be epic indeed, at least thats when the beta seems to happening.

Nice Failed, had to cancel a trip to Murcia in November, well bummed on that one!

Ok so I've been searching and searching around the world wide spiders web for info on this beta.

Dice denied the 9th sept, makes sense since it doesn't fall on a ''MS tuesday''.

Some believe the the 6th (tuesday) for origin preorder and moh buyers  which in effect would mean late on the 8th early on the 9th for the rest.

And of course the 13th is a tuesday then as well.

Now in order to avoid conflict with GOW3 (which lets face it MS wouldn't be too happy about! :)  ) the 6th seems quite reasonable.

So in conclusion 6th - 20th , giving a 2 week beta.

Personally Im obsessed with this right now , which eh is not good!!!  #)  :P

Im suspecting just two, Operation Metro and Caspian, maybe maybe one more. Probably rush on Metro and conquest on Caspian, ie one with vehicles and one without. Personally I'd be happy with that but it would be good to see another smexy map.

Plus vehicle balance and performance on consoles will be a high priority I suspect.

they might do the whole, play so much and unlock a 3rd map. Like they did with Batllefield 1943 and the Vietnam DLC.

They could indeed, I'm dying to find out what the other maps are.

I wonder if stats and unlocks will carry over.

All in time, all in time :)
