« on: August 19, 2009, 10:41:18 AM »
The Sims 3 has celebrated its eleventh week as the number one title in the PC weekly charts.

The usual suspects comprise the top three, with Football Manager 2009 clinging to second, and World Of Warcraft: Wrath Of The Lich King remaining third.

This week's only title to penetrate the top ten comes at the bottom of the chart, with Spore: Galactic Adventures climbing two places to tenth.

The top ten in full:

1. (1) The Sims 3 (Electronic Arts)
2. (2) Football Manager 2009 (SEGA)
3. (3) World Of Warcraft: Wrath Of The Lich King (Activision Blizzard)
4. (5) Warhammer 40,000 Dawn Of War II (THQ)
5. (6) Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Activision Blizzard)
6. (4) Empire: Total War (Sega)
7. (7) Grand Theft Auto IV (Take Two)
8. (9) Ashes Cricket 2009 (Codemasters)
9. (8) ARMA II (505 Games)
10. (12) Spore: Galactic Adventures

Can't wait for Shenmue 3

Now,I've only got a laptop-fairly new and was wondering if I could play some PC games on it?
It has an Intel core duo processor,2Gb of ram etc. and was wondering if it was man enough to handle anything?
Any ideas? Would like to get CoD waw but not sure if it will handle it?

you should try some demos first, that'll give you an idea of what you're laptop can handle.

Very good indeed, works with Gears on the PC too  :P

Get one of these first, then you can use your existing 360 pad.

Yes I do. You should get one its so much easier. If you have a wired pad you can just use that I think

The wired Xbox 360 controller and Games for Windows (PC) controller are the exact same controller.  The only difference is the packaging (and optional installation disc).

Can I ask, probably a dumb question. If you connect a wireless controller to the PC with the rechargable battery cable, will that work? Or is that cable purely for recharging?
