Pre-ordered my copy today :D

Gotta be honest though, hoping something has changed with the multiplayer. Really had problems getting into it in the last game, though it looked inspired in how different it was. That said, really, I'll only be huffing if I read the list of achievements - not a big fan of MP ones in games that I feel are more suiting to single player.

About to be 2 years back on this franchise. AC: Brotherhood hasn't seen its way into my collection yet.

Same here. I'm halfway through Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood is sitting on the shelf. Too many good games are coming out these days for me to catch up!

I love the AC series still, 2 and 3 were pretty good - the newest venture has yet to really seize my attention but it's still good in the same way as its predecessors.

I've still got some that I just stopped playing ages ago, though if I REALLY like a game I finish it. But Far Cry 2, which was fine to play, just never grabbed me - and is sat on the shelf somewhere. Shame really! I could milk a lot more playtime from most of my games, might do that once this release-frenzy part of the year is finally over. ;D

I cannot encourage you enough to play ME2, Failed. I liked 1 but struggled to get into it, then all of a sudden picked it up and couldn't put it back down - bought 2, finished it within the week and started the hard mode without even taking a break. ;D Love it. Much more fluid than the first one.

As for AC, tried it again yesterday and just slooowly melting the ice. I think it's a slow starter but it does seem to be getting better. Just did the mission with the Romanies (introducing their faction) and suitably warming to them. Hoping the plot thickens soon, it's seeming like.. Brotherhood-2 otherwise, needs some flare of its own.

Assassin's Creed Revelations 'Ancestors' DLC launched with trailer
Ubi puts out the first Revelations download content

Ubisoft has released the 'Ancestors' download pack for Assassin's Creed Revelations today on Xbox 360 and PC, along with a trailer for it below.

The PS3 version will get its slice of the action tomorrow, December 14.

The pack contains four new multiplayer characters: the Privateer, Corsair, the Brigand and the Gladiator. Each character has its own "unique taunts, weapons and stylised assassination moves", explains Ubi.

It costs £3.19 on the PC and PS Store or 320 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.

The first map pack DLC, titled Mediterranean Traveler, is set for release on January 24, 2012, and will feature maps based on Siena, Jerusalem, Dyers, San Donato, Firenze and the Imperial District of Constantinople.
