Call of Duty: Ghosts Sold Less Than Black Ops II at Launch, Activision Admits
Call of Duty: Ghosts sales decline 'troubling', says analystThe second comment in the comments section pretty much sums up what a lot of people think:That's not troubling at all. What's "troubling" is that such a bad gaming series has become so big in the first place. What's "troubling" is that sales for the series didn't decline years ago. What's "troubling" is that despite this so-called decline, it's still sold far more than it should have. What's troubling is that a series like CoD that just fails to innovate and throws out essentially the same game year after year always sells more and is far more popular than so many other better, more original and more innovative games that deserve it more.A sales decline for CoD isn't "troubling" at all. What it does, if anything, is show that perhaps there is hope in an industry that has shown nothing but a decline itself in overall quality, due largely to the big players pandering to the very audience that is responsible for CoD's popularity.
