Still a huge fan of Ghost in the Shell too and just wish there was a third gig.....

Now that you mention it, I heard 3rd Gig was 'greenlit' a year or so ago.  Haven't heard anything since.   :(

just spent 24 mins laughing my nipples off at the excellent B Gata H Kei .... i've been watching the new Seitokai Yakuindomo and really enjoy it, so i searched for similar anime and came up with BGHK, sooooo funny, so instead of playing Transformers i'm gonna watch some more of that, then play transformers, plenty of time to sleep when i'm dead i suppose!

coffee how i love thee, red bull how i miss you, for your drunk. end.

Ok I was never big into anime, but I do enjoy Dragonball Z. I love that series for some reason, I actually made some music videos with dragonball z, I will get them off of my older computer sometime today and post them:)

This weeks High School of the Dead was very good and Fairy Tale looks at the end of the current story arc, so i'm expecting a week or 2 of fillers.

Anyone been watching anything recently?

Influential Anime Director Satoshi Kon has died

Satoshi Kon director of such Anime classics as Perfect Blue, Tokyo Godfathers, Paranoia Agent and Paprika has died at the age of 47.

Kon started his career as a manga artist and editor in Young Magazine, and then made his screenwriting debut with 'Magnetic Rose, a section of the anthology film Memories. Kon made his directorial debut film, Perfect Blue, in 1997, followed by Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika and the television series Paranoia Agent. He had been at work on his fifth film, The Dream Machine since 2008.

Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers are amazing and should be watched by all. I've avoided Millenium Actress as it's supposedly poop.

may he find peace in heaven with a thousand anime virgin schoolgirls!

I'm a big fan of Perfect Blue and Paranoia Agent.  Paprika has been in my bottom of my Netflix Queue for years.  I've never seen Tokyo Godfathers, but I'll change that.   ;)

How did Kon die?  47 is pretty damn young.   :(

he was drawing vigorously and his arm fell off and he lost exactly 4 pints of blood = dead :/

or it was pancreatic cancer. I will have to watch Paranoia Agent now, although it looks a little freaky.

some good stuff on there, a lot of action and action/comedy. I've recently got into 'Slice of Life' aniem story style as they call it and the epic High School of the Dead (guaranteed to be made into a game).

I see you have seen Bleach, Naruto, DBZ, One Piece etc etc NOW go watch Fairy Tale, i guarantee it will be the best thing you do today and you may lose several hours of your life :)

Some fairly good titles there too I must admit....

And the guilty pleasure thing too......except not 5D drew the line there......plus the fansubs were really bad!

Any time you want to ramble about Bleach or Naruto just shout!! lol
