So,when we playing Bad Company then?

I have Bad Company 1, but haven't played it yet.  I like to play through a game's campaign before multiplayer, but I'd be willing to vote for Bad Company next friday.

Battlefield Bad Company 2's Single-Player Will Be A More Serious Matter

We already knew that EA believes March's Battlefield Bad Company 2 poses a threat to Activision's Modern Warfare series. In terms of multiplayer, they've made the case. For single player, they're finally getting specific.

Developers from EA's DICE studio, longtime makers of the Battlefield series, told Geoff Keighley on the seasons premiere of Game Trailers TV that the campaign will last 10 hours, reuniting the lead characters from the first game, but putting them in a more serious situation. The game's producer Patrick Bach promised a similar scale of action as what's been shown for the game's multiplayer. Points of emphasis continues to be that players can use the vehicles they see in the game and blow up any building.

The game's executive producer, Karl Magnus Troedsson, referred to the division of labor on the single-player and multiplayer portions of Battlefield Bad Company 2 as "a 50/50 effort."

In December, EA CEO John Riccitiello told Kotaku that Bad Company 2 is part of EA's effort to reclaim some war-game glory: "I'm not saying it's going to happen tomorrow, but in the way that Activision sort of alternates sequels of Modern Warfare and Call of Duty and owns the leadership position in FPS [first-person-shooter], between [EA's] Medal of Honor and Battlefield, I want it back."

Karl-Magnus Troedsson, Executive Producer of the Battlefield series, has told OXM that Bad Company 2 will have free DLC.
Troedsson revealed the information when asked about the possibility of there being free DLC for Bad Company 2.

"There is definitely a solid plan for what we're going to do post-launch with this product," he replied. "We haven't announced all the details about it but yes, there will be free stuff for it, we really want to take care of people who buy our games. So yes, there will be free stuff. We did quite a bit of free stuff in Bad Company 1 as well.

"People need to be aware we're a business, we need to make money, so there will be some things you have to pay for but we will work hard to find balance in between those so people will get what they think is worth their money. I'm pretty sure people will be happy with it."

I'm gonna download the demo at some point today, everything i've seen of it so far has been excellent & it looks like a COD beater, it won't sell as many copies obviously but it certainly looks like more fun.

On an initial quick game,it is basically the same as no.1,but a whole lot better.
The thing I loved about this game was the fast frenetic game play. This hasn't changed and to those that havn't played the first will get a bit overwhelmed by it.
The player is bigger than before which was one of my gripes from the first game, and the weapons are more realisic.
For example,if your sniping from a fair distance, then you'll see your round droop after a while. Not like in MW2 where you can safely snipe from 5 miles away and not experience any corliolis effect.
I loved the first game and this is going to take up a lot of my time. Also, bear in mind this is a demo so expect some more polish when it's released.
