I was serious - normally they release the GotY edition as the online community begins to wane.

What's the SP like?

Excellent single player game, i really enjoyed it. Also in my opinion the best online shooter available at the moment, i have never come across any cheats or glitchers at all and it's brilliant fun. And it's certainly not died online, far from it.

And it needs an easier way to get the demolish 2.0 achievement, it's seriously pissing me off, it's the only one I need  >:(

I agree with most of that article, but i would also add that a large percentage of online gamers are idiots/kids who love to camp, spawn kill, cheat their way to victory and be a 'lone wolf' by getting as many kills as they can for themselves even if it's to the detriment of their team mates. That's partly the  reason why modern warfare 2 is at number one and why cod 4 and gears 2 are still above bad company 2 even though their public matches are inferior. I would LOVE some proper new maps for BC2 instead of variants, but i would still rather play the same old maps on BC2 over and over than play any of the newer cod games or even gears 2 (unless it an xp event  :P)

Here's hoping EA and Dice get their act together and give us some BRAND NEW maps soon eh, cos BC2 really is my favourite online shooter. ever.  :)

Still not tried this online yet, except for that one time we all attempted to get that achievement, which was also the first time i'd played it at all!!!  Think I might trade it in today.

Why don;t you give it a try again Criag, it's so much better than MW2!

Been playing this lots since i got it last weekend and really enjoying it. I have noticed the same maps coming up over and over again already but that is probably because i have been playing squad death match and squad rush. Sorry i didn't join you guys Friday as i was with three others that i play regular with and we have all started playing this at the same time. I think when you have a full squad all communicating and working together there is no greater experience on line.

I agree, it's much less fun with randoms.

I'll play it with you for a bit if you want Craig, I'm going for these Demolition kills but I'm just seeing if I can get them by just playing the game so I'll be on it quite a bit this week.
