Call Of Duty 4 Multiplayer Review
« on: September 26, 2009, 04:07:52 AM »
After playing Multiplayer last night and again briefly this morning I thought I'd do a very quick review

1 Select Map
2 Select Class (doesn't matter, I'm crap with every weapon so who cares)
3 Spawn, now where am I? Let's run up here where everybody else is going. Where are all the opponents, they're not appearing on my HUD? Oh sh*t, I've been shot!
4 Re-spawn, now where am I? This is totally different to where I was a second ago, oh look there's somebody else re-spawned, I'll follow them. Oh sh*t, I've been shot!
5 Re-spawn, now where am I? Is that one of my teammates or an opponent? Oh sh*t, I've been shot! (must have been an opponent)
6 Re-spawn, now where am I? What's that clinking noise? Oh sh*t I've been blown up!
7 Re-spawn, now where am I? Is that a helicopter I can hear? Where is it? Oh sh*t, I've been shot! (must have been above me)
8 Re-spawn, now wh... Oh sh*t, I've been shot!
9 Re-Spawn, maybe I'm doing something wrong? I'll change class.
10 Change Class, oops, too slow, I've been shot!
11 Re-Spawn, right I have a different gun now and my UV Jammer is on. Let's see if I can make some progress. Oh sh*t, I've been shot.
12 Re-Spawn, right I'm going to hide here for a minute and go and get a drink... Oh sh*t, I've been shot
13 Game Over, we've lost... jeez I didn't even get a chance to get a drink!!!
14 Where's my Gears Of War 2 disc?

Something makes me think that Call of Duty 4 multiplayer is not the game for me!!!  ;D

Thank god for the new Tomb Raider, helped me de-stress after a tough week! More of the same please

I actually quite like the frenticism of COD4, I just really suck at it.

In fact, I have noticed that Gears 2 is the only multiplayer game I don't REALLY suck at!

And the embarrassing thing is I got kicked out of the game this morning 'cos I got no kills!  :-[

I sure fire way to get killed is to hang about with your team.  Everytime I spawn I flank away from my team members as most of the time they're a "fucking liability"

Use the M16(i think, assault rifle, auto fire, but fire in bursts) like me and stay far away and just pot shot people, always use your specials when you get them!

Works for DarkMaster too. I once ran behind him and all I heard was "planting claymore" again and again :D
Can't wait for Shenmue 3

I've had it right up to here with them.
