Nice.

If I end up playing this, I'll definitely go with a Bounty Hunger.  I imagine the class-specific quests will be much more entertaining.

I'll name her ...

mmorpg.com also has still 7000 or so keys remaining for the thanksgiving weekend test.
I like my women how I like my coffee: ground up and in the freezer.

The doctors say his chances are 50/50... but there's only a 10% chance of that.

Theres a test coming up but no emails/announcements have been made.

Goto http://www.swtor.com/tester

if you've been selected you'll see a RSVP button, click that and you'll get a pop up window that says if you want to agree or disagree. if you agree you'll get the a new button that is silver with the download now button, download client and have client ready/beat the crowds.

I've got the client downloaded and installed, had my invite earlier today for this weekend's test.  It'll probably be flooded with new people and I'll end up annoyed with whatever chat channels there are.

It's about 20 gigs total I think.  There's multiple download stages!  I was clipping along at 3.3 MB/s download though so it wasn't too bad.  Just can't play yet!

I keep reading this thread, though through sheer determination I refuse to look into the game for fear of being eaten by addiction.

Anyone else pick this up? loving it but the server queues are ridiculous.

In a 1H 20M queue just to get on my server (Basillisk Drone)

:(

EDIT:
Also theres no server protection (ie you get disconnected/booted etc you join the back of the queue to get back on)

My interest in it was piqued if not for the MASSES of Xbox games I've just bought this winter, but I'm not a fan of waiting for server time! That kind of stinks. I assume they'll fix it though. It does look interesting, just not quite ready to dare try it - it'll start demanding more and more of my time. :D

I did have this pre-ordered, but having played 15 minutes of the BETA I realised I'm just not a PC gamer and cancelled it, I need my joypad!

This is how I end up feeling with a lot of MMO games. I really want to play them, and I can even get over the PC element - but there's something more comfy about playing on a console.

Agreed, so much more comfy on a console was sitting there in the queue to play last night thinking "I should really hook my pc upto my gaming tv and sit on the sofa, keyboard on lap and mouse on armrest"
Havent yet but may well do.
