Title: Interior Design
Post by: Failed on February 28, 2010, 01:38:28 AM
I have a Black and White bedroom, it's all a little monochrome for me and although it's cool, it's also cold.

I am wanting to change my white walls in the room to another colour, a warmer more sensual colour. I need to keep my Black carpet and would like to keep my black feature wall too. Which also means i can keep my black junk (i mean girly sh*t like flower pots). I also have cheap white furniture i got when i moved in which i'm willing to personally destory on principal :)

I was thinking of a gold colour. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them if needed.

As i value your opinions people and the rest of the internet is full of sh*t, i would like some input. GRATZI

Well I like black and white but if I was to change mine I would do something like this
(http://www.granddesignfurniture.co.uk/bedroomsuites/debby3b.jpg)
The walls are white still but the furniture makes the room look different. Maybe you should keep your walls and just buy gold and black  coloured furniture
Black and gold sounds super sexy but your right there all crap on the internet
Let me see your room and I will be able to give my opinion.   ;)

My sister's old apartment was decorated with a black/gold color scheme.

Everyone told her that her place looked like a cocaine dealer lived there.

Purple is cold as it's a blue base. You also have to think that the darker colours you use, the darker it is going to feel and also smaller too.

Red would be rather overpower, have you thought of Orange or Terracotta??

Aubergine/Egg plant LOL

Black and red Failed. You should go for that. But I would keep your white walls. All the walls in my house are white (with dity handprints and pen parks from kids) Its easier to work with
