Title: BioWare Bazaar
Post by: nCogNeato on March 24, 2010, 07:26:10 PM
The BioWare Bazaar (http://social.bioware.com/bazaar) has been revealed.  Help 360° Fahrenheit and take 1 minute each day to click on each unique URL below.  If you'd like to add your own Referral URL (http://social.bioware.com/promotion_code.php), post it and I'll add it to the list.   :)

Lukehi:  http://social.bioware.com/brc/46608 (http://social.bioware.com/brc/46608)

CRracer_912:  http://social.bioware.com/brc/1698022 (http://social.bioware.com/brc/1698022)

[UPDATE]
I just learned that the "BioWare Bazaar" is only available to US residents!  Even better, it's not even available to all US states, excluding New York and Florida.  What a steaming pile of sh*t.

The BioWare community is outraged, and BioWare is going to have to figure out something quickly to save face.  I'm following some discussions on the BioWare forums, and I'll keep this thread updated.

[UPDATE 2]
BioWare has responded (http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/13/index/1988326/1#1988326) to the international outrage.  The Bazaar (or similar) will be available worldwide in the near future.  So add your Referral URL to the list above and start earning your "tokens" now.  :)

[ORIGINAL POST]
(http://i43.tinypic.com/5lduog.jpg) (http://www.bioware.com/)

When it comes to game teases, if it doesn't involve a countdown clock, we don't want to hear about it.

Thankfully, BioWare have done us right by tossing a mysterious countdown clock onto their official website (http://www.bioware.com/), as well as on the Mass Effect 2 (http://masseffect.bioware.com/) and Dragon Age: Origins (http://dragonage.bioware.com/) sites.

What does it mean?  I guess we'll find out on March 29th.

?

I thought you were talking about a specific PS3 / BioWare announcement being made.  How silly of my to assume you were staying on-topic.  (http://360fahrenheit.com/fahrenh1_forum1/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

After looking at the pic I took in my original post, and comparing it to the countdown clock on bioware.com, it looks like they've added more time to the countdown.

The countdown clock is now at 4 Days 0 Hours.  But it's been over 20 Hours since my original post.

Interesting ... sort of ... maybe not.

BioWare says: "Me so sorry!"

Quote
... We recognize that BioWare has a global community, and the Bazaar this week was originally intended to be an international event to reflect our truly global fanbase. Unfortunately, we encountered some last-minute legal complications around how contests can be structured in different parts of the world that prevented us from including all territories in this first event, even though that was our original goal.  And for that, we sincerely apologize – our goal with this sort of celebration is to show all our fans worldwide how much we appreciate your support!

BioWare definitely really values all members of our world-wide Community, no matter where you live.  Accordingly, in the coming weeks, we will be announcing details about future events specifically for fans living in those territories which were excluded from participating in the first BioWare Bazaar.  The future events will be a bit different from the first Bazaar in how they're set up and structured, but our goal is to feature the same caliber of awesome prizes and great BioWare collectibles.  We'll announce more details in the coming weeks :) ...

Be sure to post your Referral URL so I can add it to the list in the first post.  Also, help eachother out by clicking on everyone's Referral URLs once every day.
