Title: PS3 Jailbreak

Kevin Butler accidentally promotes PS3 jailbreak
Battleships gets out of hand

Sony PlayStation's VP of marketing-disguised-as-humour Kevin Butler has accidentally promoted Geohot's  infamous jailbreak code through a Twitter snafu.

Butler, or more likely the numerous people in control of his Twitter profile retweeted a twitter update from a user called Travis La Marr. The message contained the code that can enable PS3 users to hack their console.

While his retort saying "Lemme guess...you sank my Battleship?" was characteristically amusing, it was attached to the original message with the code.

Butler is currently being followed by 69,300 Twitter users, many of which probably got a good look at the code. Sony has since removed the message, but the damage may have already been done.

Sony has blocked (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/288019/news/sony-shuts-out-hackers-from-psn/) a number of PS3 users running hacked firmware from accessing the console's online service.

An interview last month with GeoHot, the guy that jailbreaked (jailbroke?) the PS3 and iPhone.
