Connect and Play! Windows Phone 7 and Web Games

It's more fun when you challenge another player. Connect to Xbox LIVE to play a variety of games with your friends. Play a turn-based game on the web or over Xbox LIVE on your Windows Phone 7 device. Whether you're at the computer or on the go, bring the fun of an Xbox LIVE game with you. Grab a friend and jump in!

I just stumbled upon this while browsing the web for WP7 apps.  This is actually the first I've heard of this.

It's turn-based (not live) multiplayer, which suits card/board games.  Currently the only game available is Chess.

You can play with people on your Xbox LIVE friendlist within your web browser (http://windowsphone.xbox.com/Game/Game-Chest-Chess), or on your WP7 Phone via the Game Chest app (http://marketplace.xbox.com/Product/WP7-GameChestLogicGames/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024D530940).

While the WP7 app does support achievements, I'm not sure if the browser version does.  Anyone want to play a game of chess with me & find out? the browser version does not.

Is it one of those ones where you can make a move, go to work and make your next when you come home?

Yes.

You can also play it quasi-LIVE.  I just tested it.  The game will update your opponent's moves in realtime (with a slight delay) if you have the game loaded in your browser.  Otherwise, you receive 'game invites' each time your opponent makes a move to prompt you to return and make a move.
