Ok completely random thread here, since the logo seems to have what looks like cigarette tip (as mentioned elswhere!!), I was wondering who amongst us smokes and what do you smoke?
For me it's tobacco and cig tubes and just roll them up via a handy wee machine.
Either that or mayfair, but I'll smoke anything tbh!!
Tried so many times to give up, got to 3 weeks before, but Im just not ready. And I know ''those things will kill you etc etc etc'', I am fully aware of that thank you! ;D
So what do you smoke, do you smoke while game? O0
Smokin's for losers, it's not big or clever!
Recently given up for the fifth time, usually stop for six months to a year but this time its for good as there is nothing good about it and i refuse to be owned!
Non smoker here, never even tried a cig either, don't see the fascination!
smoking makes you tough lol :P
Worst thing I ever did but there ya go. I guess eventually I'll quit, and like Vidar have quit temporally, so why not for good?
Well right now I just don't want to, so that's a start right? I do enjoy it and then there are times I don't, it's certainly no past-time that's for sure.
Whenever I go out for a night and have a few beers it seems to be a case of lets smoke as many you can in one night. Peer influence, I guess or just the fact that I'm more relaxed so I don't care at that point.
What I cannot stand though is non-smokers coming into a smoking area and acting as if its a conspiracy against them, you have everywhere else in the bloody world so go over there, do you not see the sign, schmuck!
Eh yeah so eh rant over now I'm gonna go roll a cig! ;D
smoke rollies, smoke more whne i game especially if its a multiplayer (smoke inbetween matches)
quit a few times longest being 2 years approx. started again when i lost my job. :(
smoking is bad for you........
just wasn't clear if you knew that or not :-)
Cigs will kill you, dude. Plus they make you smell terrible.
That is why I only smoke crystal meth from an old lightbulb. And never while I game.

Never have, never will smoked anything. Hate the smell and wonder how people can afford it too.
I however do get smoked in multiplayer matches if that counts :P

I used to be a pre-med student, hence have moved on to a PhD in Theoretical Physics so i know a lot about what smoking does to you, with knowing that i could never smoke so not for me.
I'm also not one to lecture people on why they should stop or why they shouldn't do it or whatever, its their choice and its not like the knowledge on what it does isn't all over the place these days.
...and yeah, I don't smoke either. Can't say I've anything against smokers...like Mabe said, it's everyone's own personal choice but it's just not my thing.
I smoke 3 months out of the year because during these months I'm completely over stressed overwhelmed and completely depressed and because they won't let me drink at work if they would let me drink at work then I would never smoke
nah, I dont smoke.
Did back in Uni quite a bit, bongs were involved too.

Wait, so they let you drink at work the other 9 months of the year??! :o :P ;)
No there are just less people around to see me whip out a flask lol

Nobody likes menthols.
That would be ''Mentholist'' ,
Ok not something Im proud to admit but recently I bought some of those ''smokeless'' cigarettes on a plane. Now before someone says it , yes I know what a dork, but let me explain I had to see what they were like, curiosity and all that. In a way it was the best 6 euro I ever spent and the stupidist as well!!!! At least I now know that they are just like smoking polystyrene unlit!! seriously though I had to find out, Im just like that!!
Brings new meaning to the term ''burning money''!
The only thing they did was make me want to light up, except there are no ashtrays on planes now and I wouldn't have anywhere to tap!

winded tried them, so we didn't have to!
My sister has been using "e-cigarettes" for a while, and loves them. However, my friend Slamurai tried to smoke them and said it gave him heartburn.
they're not cigarettes, they're fags .... e-fags

Well thats my job, to be full of wind!!
E-fags are bought with E-money or if you prefer e-cheque!!
I hate smoking it stinks and makes me feel ill. However I did used to smoke.
Its hard to give up. I tried everything gum, patches, hypnosis and it was all pointless. I just woke up one morning (New Years day) and decided I didn't want to smoke anymore.
The only time I will smoke is when I go to Amsterdam and that's purely because I may offend the locals though
you'd offend me if you went to Amsterdam and didn't smoke >_<
i smoke rollies or royals superkings tried giving up loads of times, dont care what people say tbh there's alot of things that kill you, i know people who've never smoked and died of cancer, so either way we'll all gunna die and all that jazz
Very true but I would rather avoid a long slow painful death if I can. I am quite unlucky at best of times. Plus I don't think its a good example to set my children.
I used to hate people like me. I am not joking its so true when people say ex smokers are the worst for nagging.
My nan smoked heavily and loved it until she was 92 my friends wife smoked about 10 a day and died at 34 from lung cancer.
Also I have quite a lot more money now I have given up smoking, drinking, crack and prostitutes. ;D (The last two addictions I made up)
pfff i'd never give up smoking, drinking, crack prostitutes .... someone has to fuel their habit!

Well you only live once, and die once!
Still a nice cocktail there :)
My man Bulk knows whats up.
I smoked for about 14 years, but I haven't had a cigarette for 76 days now. It's been tough and I have cravings still (I chew on toothpicks like a friggin' beaver), but I do honestly feel better. I promised myself that even though I quit smoking I wouldn't give smokers a hard time. I always hated when former smokers gave me a hard time, so for those who still do smoke, enjoy one for me!
14 years? Yikes. How'd you kick it? Patch? Tapering off? Cold turkey?

I quit cold turkey. I've tried the patch and the gum, but neither of those did the trick. Tapering off didn't work either. After doing some research, it seems like smokers who quit cold turkey are less likely to relapse than those who use nicotine substitutes like the patch and gum. It's been tough, but it gets easier every day. If anyone would like some tips on how to quit this way, let me know.
EDIT: Also, smokes where I live are around $10 a pack. I'm saving $40 a week. That's money I can spend on comics!
I used to smoke infrequently then stopped for no particular reason, i enjoy the occasional cigar on a night out but apart from that never bothered me either way.
nice, I think I'm now getting to the whats the f****n point stage. Tried those e-cigs there actually quite good, better for the house as well.I figure if I can knock some of the bad elements of smoking out the door that's good, plus it works out cheaper in the end. Ok there's still nicotine going in but it's a start. The nice thing about them is unlike a proper cig you don't feel obliged to smoke the whole thing, cause lets face it there's times when I just want a drag or two but putting out and relighting as anyone will tell you just doesn't taste nice (do fags taste nice anyway!!).
Anyway to those that have stopped, good on ya's, one day, some day, I'll join ya's!!!!
I usually smoke when I drank. And every once in awhile I grab a cigarette if I'm feeling it. And well as far as smoking something else I live in Austin so that's like a ritual around here lol.
