Title: motorola xoom
Post by: citatscEellE on July 30, 2011, 02:21:57 PM
So. Just got a 32 gig motorola xoom and I wanted to know why does this site crash it.like I have to force close everytme. I never had this issue with my Ipad/Android phone.
It runs on Android honeycomb and dual core processors.

Sad I have to visit this site on my tiny Android phone :-(
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :-)
Thanks!

I'm not sure why you are having a problem.  I surf this site on my Xoom almost daily and don't have a problem. Are you using the stock browser or one of the market ones?

Using the stock browser. I wonder if its my processes slowing me down making my tablet freeze or something. Wow only had it for 24hrs and already I broke it :(

Android is pretty good at managing the processes to keep that from happening.  I don't think you broke it.  Have you powered it all the way down and then turned it back on?  Sometimes mine will act weird if I haven't done that in awhile.

My first guess would be there's something wrong with your Xoom.  But it's worth mentioning the site was having some problems (http://www.360fahrenheit.com/forum/index.php?topic=2295.msg64176#msg64176) earlier this week.  Let us know how your Xoom handles the site after the maintenance.

Um Download the Dolphin browser from the marketplace and see if you still have the same problem.  I normally use the stock browser when I am on this site, but some other sites that I visit Dolphin works a bit better.
