Transformers: Fall of Cybertron announced
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, a direct sequel to 2010 actioner War for Cybertron, is on its way.
GameInformer (http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/10/06/november-cover-revealed-transformers-fall-of-cybertron.aspx) has the scoop but is being stingy with the details, only revealing that High Moon Studios returns on dev duty and that the Activision-published game continues the story of the civil war raging between the Autobots and Decepticons.
Its report claims that the title "changes and improves upon so many of the fundamental ideas that the developer considers the game a natural successor rather than a true sequel."
High Moon's first effort was solid enough fare, picking up a 6/10 from Eurogamer.
awesome, War for Cybertron is the best Transformers game since the first PS2 game came out.

War for Cybertron was a little simplistic, but still a fantastic experience for any Transformer fan. I even played the multiplayer! :o

I bought Skylanders for myself, Transformers is easily an acceptable child-free purchase ;D
I haven't played the previous transformers games (movie based) since they apparently suck terribly. But this one looks good.
the movie based ones do suck massively, but the War for Cybertron is incredibly enjoyable and a solidly good game. diff developer then the movie games (except the last one, but they had to rush that one for movie tie in)
Nice videos Neato, good find! Gameplay looks really good! Never played the last one. Thinking of picking it up. Some handy achievements in there also, that's always a good thing ;)
I really enjoyed the last one. For a licensed title, and one as huge as Transformers, High Moon did a great job. Both the single player and multiplayer. Im really excited to see the next one. Any game that lets you play as Grimlock is worth a look in my book :)

Most notably, developers High Moon have managed to snag Mr Prime himself, Peter Cullen. He’s provided voice work for the Autobot leader ever since the original cartoons back in the 80’s. He basically is Optimus Prime.
In addition to this, Greg Berger voices Grimlock, while Nolan North, Troy Baker, Fred Tatasciore, Steve Blum, Isaac Singleton and more round out the stellar cast. That’s pretty much all of the best voice pros in the business.
