I just counted up all the Retail games I own and I have 33 in total
Of those 33:
2 I play purely because I love playing them (Madden 10 and Gears Of War 2 (Obviously))
5 I'd be very unlikely to play again, but I can't bring myself to trade in yet
2 I've got for playing with friends family only: Guitar Hero: World Tour & Soul Calibur IV (it's the only game my wife will play with me)
3 I've got simply for playing with you guys and girls only (Call Of Duty 4, Left 4 Dead and The Orange Box)
and the other 21 I've got because I've either not played them enough (including 3 I've only just bought), or I've still got some achievements I think I can get.
So I have a couple of questions:
1) Is the figure of 33 more, less or about average for everyone else on here?
2) Is 21 games still to complete or get achievements for a bit excessive?

You've got more games than me...but thats not hard.
I traded in a load of games and currently have almost £80 credit to spend on autumns new releases.
I've currently got 9 games:
3 I'm do some more whoring
2 keep for multiplayer fun
1 unopened
3 not worth trading in
I think your number of 33 games will be about average as there's a lot of hoarders kicking about this site!

Around 35 games for me, i mainly rent stuff as you all know.
Quite a few are still wrapped with a couple of pre-owned games that I haven't started yet.
I've started all mine and have sh*t gamerscore in them, so i need to finish them off or they'll do my nut in!
I have 37 games, And it scares me to think i've completed maybe 7-8 of them. It's hard to justify buying new games when I have so many to complete.
I currently have 13 Retail games:
Of those 13:
2 are currently lent to mates (Batman and Rock Band)
3 are because I like rock music (Guitar Hero 3 and 5 and Rock Band)
4 I keep for you guys (Gears1, 2, Cod 5 and Halo 3)
1 Im currently whoring (Wet and may eventually ship off to one of yous ;))
3 are worth no value trading in (Guitar hero 3, Halo and Forza)
I see some of them overlap into other sections but Ill let you figure it all out :D

8 of them are for playing with you guys. The rest are for me and i gave completed 4 of them. And flogging 4 more on ebay

I think that I have completed a few of them but have them all to whore for points when I have time!! lol

70% i havent completed, bout 5% i havent even played.
I tend to keep a "rotation" of about 10 Xbox 360 games.
Core games I play regularly like Gears, Halo, Orange Box, COD4.
Games I haven't complted like Marvel 2, Tomb Raider, Street Fighter 4.
Then there are games I haven't even played, but intend to like Oblivion, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space.
Other games fall in between and usually get traded into GameStop during their promotions.

30 pc games
1000's of DS games
and about 15 Wii games
Also Halo, Halo 2, Fable 2, Shenmue 2, San Andreas, GTA Double Pack and Call of Duty for Xbox. I couldnt bring myself to part with the last 7 games when I gave the kids my Xbox. Although I have never played them since moving onto next gen.
I've got about 30 somthing games,about 6 of which have never made the disc tray.
I've only got gears 1 & 2 to play with you guys,allthe CoD series because I like 'em,Burnout paradise which is ace.
I just got Brutal Legend which is awesome! And,Operation Flashpoint DR which is good,but I need to spend some time on that.
Also got ODST,but slightly dissapointed with it-to samey to halo 3!

Me too mate, not bought a new game since GH Metallica in May, the last time i traded a game was FEAR 2 for Dead Space in May/June
