Konami is 'aggressively' look at the idea of using Project Natal for its Pro Evolution Soccer series.
"Up until 2009 we believed all the platforms should have the same controls and features," explained series producer Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka. "That's no longer the case, because there are specific controllers for different machines, what with Natal and the PlayStation motion sensor system. I cannot say much, but I can say we are looking at integrating those devices into our games very aggressively."
Seabass doesn't go into detail how it will be integrated, just that it will. Any ideas?
I'd rather Seabass & Konami didn't do this & go back in time about 4 or 5 years, look at Pro Evo games from then, then come back and make PES 2011 as good as those, FIFA sucked back then & despite selling better it wasn't even in the same league in terms of playability, if Seabass managed to make the next game like those whilst improving other aspects, i'd be very happy.
I totally agree, PES was a much better game a few years back. I have been so disappointed with the last few games. I would never have brought FIFA over PES but that has changed now, And with the use of Natal I could see the series turning into some kind of Wii clone.
