Kenji Matsubara, Tecmo Koei Holdings honcho, expects big things of recently announced multi-platform title Hokuto Musou. The game is based on post-apocalyptic martial arts manga Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken).
"Only in Japan, the game should sell a million copies," Matsubara told the Nihon Keisai Newspaper. According to the paper, the game is expected to launch worldwide, given the international familiarity with Fist of the North Star.

New Fist of The North Star Screens/Art Already Dead
In March 2010, Tecmo Koei is bringing post-apocalyptic martial arts manga Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken) to the PS3 and the Xbox 360 in Japan.
The game has been titled Hokuto Musou, and is part of Koei's popular "Musou" series of games.
Besides new screens, there is new art of characters like hero Kenshiro, tough guy Rei and village leader Mamiya — she's in a thong, something the Japanese internet has been quick to point out. Thank you, Japanese internet!
The manga Fist of the North Star debuted in 1983 and went on to spin off two animated series and motion pictures.

Fist of the North Star for Europe
Tecmo Koei is bringing Fist of the North Star to Europe this summer.
The game moulds the Japanese manga series into a Dynasty Warriors template, so hero Kenshiro uses his martial arts to batter hordes of angry bad guys, notching up combos as he goes.
There are loads of moves to uncover, hidden characters to find and faithful recreations of the Fist of the North Star world and stories.
New Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage DLC Revealed
Tecmo Koei Europe has today revealed not just one, but three all-new downloadable content (DLC) packs coming for the widely respected Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage. Available now on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage was met with significant critical acclaim upon release, and has developed a very keen community since.
The new DLC packs will be released in stages, beginning this week with the Jagi – Original Costume & 2 New Missions pack. In the two new missions, the first pits you against Jagi's forces while the other will test your skills against the four mighty heroes: Ryuga, Fudo, Juza and Toki. Set to be available in Europe from Wednesday, 1st December 2010, the Jagi – Original Costume & 2 New Missions pack will cost £2.99 on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3, and 480 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360.
The second and third DLC packs, both set to be available from 15th December, revolve around Heart and Outlaw. Adding these two new playable characters to the already extensive roster, each DLC pack will also provide new missions. The Playable Character Heart & 2 New Missions pack will be available to download for £7.19 on PlayStation Network and 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The Playable Character Outlaw & King Survival Mission pack will be priced at £6.29 on PlayStation Network, and 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
Each of these packs will also be available in North America, set to be released a day prior to their arrival in Europe.
