Nintendo has confirmed that upcoming title Metroid: Other M will be released during the summer in Japan.
According to CVG, the release date for the latest Metroid game, which is being developed by Team Ninja, was revealed by Nintendo following its recent fiscal report.
The list also reveals that a new title called Xenoblade will be released in spring and that Super Mario Galaxy 2 remains TBA 2010.
Nintendo's latest entry into the Zelda franchise is also listed, although it is unclear whether this will be released this year.
Metroid: Other M sees players once again control Samus Aran, with the action switching between first and third person, as well as 3D and 2D.
I'm quasi-excited for this.
The lack of HD prevents me from every being 100% excited for any Wii game, no matter how much I want to be. :'(
