Sega has released a demo for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing on Xbox Live Marketplace.
The demo plucks Sonic (of course) and Banjo out of the line-up as the playable characters, allowing you to whizz around one track to get a feel for the game.
It's clearly billed as Sega's answer to Mario Kart but will it succeed? Give the demo a whirl and find out. If you like it that much, there's even a bright summery premium theme to download as well. Although unlike the demo, it won't be free, setting you back 240 Microsoft Points.
240 points is a piss take, but mario kart is a really fun mp game.Let's hope this is the same.
Perhaps a new different addition to Friday nights?
The games very hard, i finished 8th then 6th in my 2 races on medium difficulty and couldn't get anywhere near the front runners.
You can't powerslide to boost on corners like in Mario Kart though. I used to love Crash Team Racing on the PSX, top game!
I'm getting this, my 4 y.o son has told me i am ::)

My 6 year old has also informed me that I wil be buying this, I did play the demo and it plays very much like Mario Cart with a sonic twist, The course I tried was very rollercoaster in places. But it was not bad for what it is.
