Fast & Furious: Showdown
« on: April 25, 2013, 05:40:00 AM »
So along with another pointless crappy film, we're getting a pointless crappy game!

Fast & Furious: Showdown Revs Up This May

Yes. Fast & Furious 6 is a thing, and it'll be launching in cinemas and multiplexes the world over on May 24th. And to tie-in with the theatrical release of the sixth film in the street racing series, Activision is to publish Fast & Furious: Showdown, which has you racing in "some of the hottest vehicles" across "epic locations around the globe."

Featuring two-player co-op, Fast & Furious: Showdown has you teaming up for a variety of "high-stakes" driving missions, with the ability to switch between the role of driver, gunman, tactician or daredevil. You can build and customise your own 'dream car' with upgrades and performance mods, while the Challenge Mode includes objectives to complete with online leaderboards to compete on.

Fast & Furious: Showdown will release ahead of the movie starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and the rest of the old Fast & Furious gang. The movie releases on May 24th, whereas the game launches on May 21st, 2013 for $39.99. Check out the first three screens below.
