For some reason, I guess after playing online with you over the years, That I knew no.2 was not a lie.

Right I have to have a go now, So here goes which one is the Lie.

1. I was chased out of  the Army recruiting center for being drunk.
2. I'm half American
3. My first wife left me in the first year of our marriage.

I know you're a hopeless lush, so #1 is true.
I think you may have told me #2 was true at some point, but that may have been the beer talking.
I'll go with #3 as the lie.

#3 is indeed the lie.

1. In the middle of a crazy weekend, I did attempt to join the Army after losing a drunken bet with mates.
2. My Mum is indeed an American, my Mum's side all come from Massachusetts although a few have migrated down to Florida.
3. Never been married, I've been with me partner since I was 20, 13 years now. I should really marry her.

Ok my first attempt here Neato, im gonna go with number 3 the lie. If an Opossum is anything like a Possum here in OZ u wouldnt want to keep them or cant. But if u want to and can in the US pls tell me more....

Good guess, but #3 is true.  Possums and opossum are similar, just live in opposite hemispheres. 

When I was about 5 years old, living in Kansas, my pet cat decided it would be a good idea to have an opossum girlfriend.  She lived on our patio and slept with my cat in his little catbed.  My mom wouldn't let her in the house.  My mom would say "I hope he's using protection" but I wouldn't figure out what that meant for a few more years.
