I've decided to go back to some old games and gears to get some 100% games under my belt. It's to my shame that i don't have a single game at 100% gamerscore completion. I'm planning on getting it in all of the following;

Oblivion
MW2
Gears 1,2 and 3
L.A Noire
Just Cause 2
BF2 (and 3 if i decide to buy)
Red dead redemption

just basically looking for any assistance and/or tips you guys may have to give on this lot? I know they are probably not the easiest to 100% but they are games i tend to enjoy playing and so i am more likely to stick with to the end.

The Gears games will take ages to 100% especially 1 & 3 because of the Seriously chieves, Seriously 2.0 on Gears 2 is easy. Gears 1 has a load of online achievements that can only be gotten in Ranked matches which is a pain though you can get all the Annex and most of the map pack achievements by doing split screen. If you need any co-op help then give us a shout.

yeah i guessed gears 1 is going to be pretty much impossible to get 100% cos of its age and needing online play, i just want to take them as far as possible, if 100% is impossible. I get distracted by new games way too easily!

L.A noire is a perfect example of this, i absolutely loved it then gears came out and i haven't touched it since.

i wouldn't bother with the others and i havn't i have them all and completed none of them. I am working on 100% Oblivion atm though.

I gave up trying to 100% LA Noire, it was getting too boring re-doing the cases

You can still get a bunch of Gears 1 online achievements and you can boost the weapon ones pretty easily, Seriously is a pain because it doesn't always unlock at 10,000 kills, it's been known to unlock at 15,000!!

Gears 1 is still very active and probably more active than Gears 3 in certain regions, if you believe those Gears 3 region numbers of course!

I'm game for helping out on some RDR and Gears 1 & 2 achieves. I know there are some Co-op achieves in Gears 1 that I don't have. RDR has some co-op stuff too, through the "Outlaws to the End" DLC Pack, and it's free!
