War of the Roses

There is a beta coming up for a great looking multiplayer medieval battle game called "War of the Roses". It takes the same great core combat mechanics of Mount & Blade and adds a weapon customization / leveling up system like from the Modern Warfare series, active reloads for crossbows and bows from the Gears of War series, and also finisher execution moves/revive gameplay mechanic (also from Gears of War).

War of the Roses is being published by Paradox Interactive (same great publisher that brings us all sorts of quirky European games like Mount & Blade and Magicka).

I received a War of the Roses Beta codeâ€, but it's only compatible with Windows Vista and up. Since I'm still rocking XP, anyone want my code?
