So long as she is in the basement with a TV, should be ok.

I believe Tibet is nice this time of year but the monks are really good at Street Fighter

She wants a Wii and in her words "Everything they do for it, that wii board thingy and some tennis things OH and mario, with a steering wheel"

The new Black Wii looks nice.

Having seen some videos of girls on the Wii snao board or Fitness thing, I would think there is deffenatly and up side to the Wii

Oh no, poor you! The curse of the Wii strikes again. We had one for a about a month, it broke, we got another one, played the new one for exactly 2 hours, and never played it again. We eventually sold it for pretty much the same amount we paid for it to my wife's work colleague. My brother bought one earlier this year and he's found the same thing, played it for a month or so and now he and his wife have got bored with it! It's a novelty item, it's fun for a while but that's about it. Can't you convince your missus that it's a waste of money and she'd be better off just getting a second controller for your 360 or something???

I've owned a Wii since about a month after it launched.

I've probably played no more than 10 games. However, the 10 games I have played were very fun, especially the rail-shooters. If you end up bring a Wii into your home, try to find a wireless WAVEBIRD GameCube controller. They're not easy to find, but soooo worth it.

BONUS: The Wii is super easy to hack. Just be sure you don't update the firmware.

We've got a Wii,and it dosn't really get used now.Got the wii fit board etc. for the missus to,hu hum,exercise?
Chas has a PS3 and an Elite in his room and my Xbox is in the conservatory(next to a dusty wii).
It's definately a birds console,and I'm sure we'll dust it off at Christmas for some familly fun.

Same here. We have a Wii and a fair decent amount of games now. Even the kids have got bored of it. They just seem to play Lego games.
I go on the Wii fit which is cool and does work I lost weight using it. Also Mario Kart is awesome but really thats all it has too offer. I would borrow one first for about a months thats when it starts to get boring

I will never own a Wii, playing on one is bad enough, the Gamecube with crappy motion control is not for me.
