... Anyways back on topic!

Bayonetta! now whoever came up with her is a frakking genius !  8)

I read a great interview with Hideki Kamiya (creator) in either Game Informer or OXM.  The guy is a creative genious.  He's like Miyamoto's (Mario) cooler older brother.  You know, the one that drives the fast car and bring hot chicks home.

Stroke of pure genius, sometimes I wish I could create something like that.... but I would be like Tracy from 30Rock and only end up making a pornographic video game  ;)

That brings up a question I've always had.  Why do actual licensed pornographic videogames not exist?

I know there are underground, privately funded PC games, but I'm talking about an actual multimillion dollar developed and published game for Xbox 360 / PS3.  Even if the game was only sold online direct from the publisher, it would still sell like crazy.

Sports, Nature, War, Medicine, Parenting, Fantasy, there is a videogame for practically ever aspect of human life except sex.  I understand the risk a company would have to take in order to back it, but I'm just baffled why no one has done it.

Me and Red have actually have actually spent about 7 hours of our working day talking about how we would create this and the story lines and gone quite in-depth.... you can tell we don't do much at work  ;)

it's probably because 'kids' play video games. Adults just buy games for their kids, half of them don't even recognise the content they're subjecting their children too. I had one woman yesterday who was 'shocked' to find GTA had sex, drugs and killing in it. I simply stated it was 18 for a reason, what did you expect, an 18 game is worse than an 18 film in my opinion. She then proceeded to buy him Ice Age 2 on the PS2 ... he'll appreciate that after playing GTA :P Kids find it easier to obtain an 18 game than a film (it's only a game mum) ... how would this be any different.

If it was hardcore too, it could only be sold in a Private Adult establishment, with an R18 rating (PEGI don't have these). Adult films are also far more expensive than your average film (£25-£40) around 3 times as much. Does this mean the game would cost £100+ ... for a game that'll last 5 mins (10 tops :P depending on load times :P )

Interactive sex is taboo enough for video games like ME2, only used to generate publicity, this would be a sh*t storm of grandeur unlike GTA could dream of.

Hot Coffee anyone ;D

Your missing the point.. you would buy this directly from the creators... i.e a porn studio or something.

And getting hold of movies that are 18 is lot easier brother... rapidfind.org <--- every movie you could ever think of is on there

and porn well now the internet was built for porn! and shopping.... did I mention gaming? lolz  ;D

Failed

i did also go on to mention it could only be sold in a licensed premise if not the net. Kids will get hold of it though and that's the problem, even if a few get it, it's really bad for the gaming world.
