Christmas gaming traditions

Do you play a certain game on christmas day every year? even if it's just to mess around in it for a while and have fun rather than go through the main game itself?

Since the year it came out, I always load up The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and I always play through the whole game between christmas day and new years day. It was the first decent game I ever got for christmas, so I celebrate that by playing once a year. The fact that it's my all time favourite game doesn't hurt either.

I also want to start a second tradition, with Dragon Age. It was the first Xbox game I ever got for christmas and also turned out to be one of my very favourite games. And to further that, I'm reinstalling it on my Xbox so I can start my playthrough a few hours early this year.

I used to always play Sensible Soccer (on the SNES) with my Brother whenever we met up at my Mothers over Christmas, but now he's moved abroad so we wont be doing that anymore...

Me & my mates used to always have big PES tournaments every Christmas night but we've not done that in ages, my only Christmas tradition is to watch Die Hard while having Christmas dinner, that and drinking loads of course.

I buy myself a game every year and wrap it up and put it under the tree, i'm always guaranteed to get exactly what i want for crimbo then.

I almost bought Enslaved yesterday for £15 brand new but decided against it as i've got too many games still to play, still might get it next week though.

My little cousins always come over and play whatever console FPS is the thing for the moment. It probably started with Goldeneye, then Perfect Dark, then Halo. This year it will probably be Halo: Reach.

i never usually get chance to play my 360 on xmas day/my birthday as we have a daughter, but if i was to play something this year, starting the tradition so to speak, it would be kinect sports or kinectimals. We bought my daughter kinectimals for xmas this year but she hasn't opened any pressies yet as we are waiting for my wife fizz (fusioness) to get back from work at 3 first. Then i can battle with my daughter over who gets to play kinectimals first!

Normally I don't get to play video games on Christmas, my nephew would play while I watched.  This year I will actually get to spend a few hours playing games myself.

i guess the only tradition we have is to buy a new xbox game and not play it on the day lol x
