Dashboard Update (Jan. 19 2011)

Today you will have a mandatory Dashboard update, this is to re-add the 'boot to disc' option in the system settings, wether you have it or not.
Boot to Disc lets you either load the game in the tray when you switch on or the dashboard.

Thursday will have a seperate update, that changes the gamercards a little and makes them look cleaner. It also removes the zones, so no more recreation, pro etc

Details are vague and lots of people already have the 'boot to... ' .... so it's probably somethng to do with Kinect spying on you and they are keeping it secret!!

To clarify;

The new gamercards are an xbox.com update not a Dashboard update

MS seems to have snuck in an update with the boot to disc bit - they made burned copies of Call Of Combat Killers no longer work. Specifically targetting black ops I think.

Buy the game, support developers.

I got an e-mail from Gabe Newell saying this is what MS does when devs say that the PS3 is better, strange!!
