deep web is a myth

all it is is pages that you don't access through search engines. so you have the front page of a website and then you have all the other pages of pap that the search engines don't pick up. that pap is deepweb. i'd trawl it but its gonna be random, like stock listings or some sh*t. you've gotta be lucky to find a goldmine of information in the deepweb, most of it must be uninteresting and useless.

oh and the random sites people can't be ass'd registering with search engines or adding meta tags. beiber fan sites in the deep web ..... awesome!

Failed is right.

Plus, search spiders/robots are far more advanced than they were when the "invisible web" concept was introduced.  For something to truly be off the grid would require it to be restricted to intranet, which moots the whole venture.

However, if you do happen to find some gem buried in the series of pipes, feel free share.   ;D

If you posted about something that was deep web, would you then bring it to the surface and void it's 'deep web' status. Like a trawler finding lost treasure, if it's found, it isn't lost. Is it the same for deep web, if you read it, is it then not deep web anymore??
