Minecraft, the amazing indie sandbox game where you kill skeletons, is coming to the Android phone.  Creator Notch tweeted a picture of Minecraft on an Android phone, specifically, an Xperia Play (A/K/A The PlayStation Phone).

The rumor is Notch and company plan to show off the mobile version of Minecraft at E3 this year.

It still doesn't offer as much as the XBLA version but is still fun.

The 0.6.0 update has been submitted for both iOS and Android! If you're running an Android 2.1 or 2.2 phone though you're out of luck as Minecraft is no longer supported on those versions as of this release.
