'Left 4 Dead 2' Xbox Live weekend announced

 free Xbox Live weekend has been announced for Left 4 Dead 2.

Running from January 15 to January 18, Silver members will have full access to all the online multiplayer features usually reserved for Gold subscribers.

This will include access to co-operative play through the campaign, as well as Versus and Scavenge modes online.

The weekend will start and end at 5pm GMT.

Its awessome. Although I have only played it once with my daughter who screamed all the time. She said stuff like "Mum where are you", "mum its getting me", "Mum it wont shoot"

thats cool, but i would have to wonder about people that would buy a game that is meant to be played online without a gold membership.

I bought it for offline coop, i don't expect us to be playing this until later this year, when it's cheaper and more people pick it up, similar to L4D1... we had some good nights playing L4D1

I'll play next Saturday aswell, this Saturday i'm busy with scorewhore boosting (Altered Beast and Superstars V8) and Sunday is gonna be some Horde for JT i think.
